Welcome to the Arlington Striders.
We are a fun loving club that is dedicated to wellness, camaraderie, recreational and competitive running. We get together for training runs, social events and volunteering at local races!
Our club has both members new to running as well as members who are experienced runners and have years of training under their belts, they participate in races from the Mile to the Marathon, as well as Ultras, Triathlons, Cross Country and Track. We even have a RRCA Certified Running Coach who has been coaching for over 17 years, and has helped many club members do everything from run their first 5K to qualifying for both the Boston Marathon and the ING New York City Marathon!
As an active grass roots club our purpose is to create a social place for runners to train and share their knowledge with one another, the opportunity to volunteer and help out, and to promote and build up the running community. But most importantly our club's primary objective is to motivate and encourage each other and train together so no one has to run alone.
